L.A. Louver MAY MADNESS

Throughout the month of May, L.A. Louver is hosting an online competition to determine the ultimate gallery exhibition from our 46-year history. With over 500 gallery exhibitions to choose from, narrowing down our top 32 exhibitions at L.A. Louver was a daunting task. The selection process was conducted by gallery staff members identifying their favorite exhibitions from each decade. After countless rounds of deliberation and voting, we landed on the grouping of shows listed below. While not a scientific approach by any means, it allowed us the opportunity to delve back into our vast archives and reintroduce ourselves to the gallery's rich history, making surprising and delightful discoveries along the way. We hope MAY MADNESS will allow participants to do the same.

The winning exhibitions will be decided through social media polls. Please follow along on Instagram and Facebook to cast your votes!

Scroll down to learn more about L.A. Louver's top 32 exhibitions, and visit lalovuer.com/then for a full account of the gallery's history to date, including museum shows and other projects for our artists.

For a chance to win a bundle of L.A. Louver publications, with both current and out of print titles, please submit your singular choice for the top gallery exhibition to info@lalouver.com by Friday, 15 May. Those that correctly name the top exhibition will be entered in the running to win a package of books and other surprise goodies. The ultimate gallery exhibition and the winning contestant will be announced on Friday, 29 May.
